PROCON B6 Series "Easy Latch" connector design that can be used in applications where "space" is at a premium. For applications that require multiple connectors mounted in a "tight" space or closer together, the PROCON "One-Touch" design is the perfect solution.

- PROCON housings are made from die-cast aluminum, die-cast zinc, and glass fiber-reinforced polyamide.
- A seawater-resistant special aluminum die-cast alloy is used for the BHT series.
- The aluminum housing is given a high-quality powder coating in grey for standard applications, black for increased environmental requirements (BHT series), and silver for electromagnetic compatibility.
BASE HOUSINGS
- PROCON base housings are ideal for fixed installation in switching cabinets and industrial equipment.
- They are optionally available with permanently hinged plastic or aluminium protective covers to guard against dust and dirt when the plug connections are separated.
- For individual requirements, the user can choose between a low and high construction height, as well as different cable inlet options and locking systems.
PANEL HOUSINGS
- PROCON panel housings are especially ideal for fixed installation in switching cabinets.
- The cable is inserted through the open housing base.
- This housing is also available in a high and low construction heights with various locking technologies and optionally with fixed-hinge protective covers.
COUPLING HOUSINGS

PROCON coupling housings are portable housings with straight or lateral cable inlet options in a high or low construction height. Different locking systems allow customized applications.
SLEEVE HOUSINGS

PROCON sleeve housings are available as standard in different heights with one or two cable inlets.

For individual applications, the cable inlets vary in size and number as required by the customer. This means that it does not matter if the inlets are to be provided at the top, on the side, or at the front.
PLASTIC HOUSINGS
- PROCON plastic housings are available as base, panel, coupling, and sleeve housings.
- Both the housing and the locking clips are made from glass fiber-reinforced polyamide.
- In addition to the compatibility with aluminum housings, the plastic housings in the B6 - B24 series impress with their lower weight.
- A reduced variety of parts with different usage options allows greater flexibility for installation and also reduces storage costs.
CRIMP CONNECTION (0,5 - 4 MM²)
The cable and contact are perfectly coordinated with each other. The crimping tool is also adjustable to the cross-section of the cable, ensuring that an even electrical connection is established every time.
The gas-tight crimping site prevents the ingress of oxygen to the current transition point, thereby avoiding any corrosion and ensuring a constantly low transition resistance.
Crimp connections can be created semi-automatically by hand or fully automatically.

SCREW CONNECTION (0,5 - 2,5 MM²)
- The screw connection with wire protection prevents the deviation and shearing of individual wires in a stranded cable.
- The screw connection without wire protection is used for installations with pre-fabricated cables featuring pin cable lugs or crimped-on wire end sleeves.
- The screw connection is very servicing-friendly and is, therefore the most commonly used. The quality of the connection, however, depends greatly on the care of the user. Powerful machine vibrations can also influence the quality of the screw connection.
INSULATION DISPLACEMENT TECHNOLOGY (0,5 - 2,5 MM²)
- When used with insulation displacement technology, the as-yet un-isolated cable is simply plugged into the pre-opened contact socket and the slider with slide meter levered shut using a screwdriver.
- By doing away with the isolation, pulling-up of the wire end sleeves and screw connections, the time saving during installation can be as much as 60%.
- The inserts with insulation displacement technology are compatible with screw and crimp contact inserts from the B series. In addition to the conventional encoding types, simple, inexpensive plug-in encoding can also be carried out at the insert.
PUSH-IN CONNECTION (0,5 - 2,5 MM²)
- The inserts with a push-in connection have a square cable inlet (not rectangular), which means that the cable can be introduced in any way.
- Flexible wires with wire end sleeves or rigid wires can be plugged directly into the push-in contact inserts without any tools.

The Mo series, in combination with the tried-and-tested standard housings of the B series, allows the synthesis of electrical contacts in inserts of different rated voltages and rated currents and optical contacts in a holder frame.

The modular structure of the inserts allows the user to decide on the specific design for each individual case.

The different insert modules are inserted into the holder frame, which varies according to the housing size, where they easily and securely engage.

A special release tool ensures the rapid and straightforward adaptation of the plug connection to any changes in the user's requirements.
