These Outer Space Men are in production now and we're just awaiting some final costing quotes from the factory before we put them up for pre-order, but we figured you guys might wanna' see them now.

The upcoming Alpha Phase wave 5 (Orbitron & Gemini) and Alpha Phase Deluxe 1 (Cyclops). These will only be sold as a set of three for the Alpha Phase release, and we hope to have pricing and pre-order info for you sometime next week. They'll only be available through Store Horsemen and at the 2012 San Diego Comic Con.

Keep in mind that the image shown is only of the prototypes for the figures and the final product colors and clarity will vary slightly. All of the ABS accessories will be crystal clear green. Also, not shown here, Cyclops will come with a second pair of "open" hands.

This Thursday night (May 3th, 2012), two of the upcoming Outer Space Men sets will be going up fro pre-order!

INFINITY EDITION OUTER SPACE MEN WAVES 1&2 (2.0) - Slightly revised versions of AstroNautilus, Metamorpho, Inferno and Xodiac will go up for pre-order at 9:00pm EST on 5/3/2012 at Store Horsemen!

These new incarnations of the first four Outer Space Men that were released feature new paints and clear weapons and accessories that will bering each character closer to the original vision of OSM creator - Mel Birnkrant!

Each figure will come on it's own unique collector friendly blister card for only $50.00 per set of four figures (plus shipping & handling charges).

Quantities are extremely limited and orders accidentally taken over the allotted total amount for sale will be cancelled. If this happens, those customers will be first in line to order the next re-run of Infinity Edition Waves 1&2.

COSMIC CREATORS SERIES 1&2: THE FOUR HORSEMEN EDITION OUTER SPACE MEN -

These brightly hued versions of AstroNautilus, Metamorpho, Inferno and Xodiac were designed by the Four Horsemen themselves, and will go up for pre-order at 9:00pm EST on 5/3/2012 at Store Horsemen!

These utterly unique versions of the first four Outer Space Men that were released feature vibrant new paints and clear weapons and accessories as re-imagined by the Four Horsemen themselves.

Each figure will come on it's own unique collector friendly blister card which will be signed by the Four Horsemen as well as the other three integral members of the Horsemen's stable - Shane Dittsworth, Owen "O-Dawg" Oertling and Sherri Lyn Cook! The cost for each set of four figures will be $65.00 (plus shipping & handling charges).

Quantities are extremely limited and orders accidentally taken over the allotted total amount for sale will be cancelled. Once this series of figures is gone, it's GONE!

INFINITY EDITION OUTER SPACE MEN 1&2 (2.0) up for pre-order this week!

The Infinity Edition Outer Space Men waves 1&2 (version 2.0) figures will be going up for pre-order later this week!

We wanted to give you guys a look at some of the alterations that've been made to the figures that will bring them closer to Outer Space Men creator Mel Birnkrant's original vision of the colors for the figures. The photos below will give you an example of this, but the pics just don't do these cool little guys justice.

METAMORPHO 2.0! He's painted in a much brighter white than the first release, and his helmet will be a somewhat translucent white in order to let more light through onto on his face. Both of his weapons and his chest button will now be done in the same clear pink as his helmet knob.

ASTRONAUTILUS 2.0! The purple of his skin has been adjusted to more perfectly match the original Astronautilus figure from the '60s. His trident will be a deeper clear blue than before.

INFERNO 2.0! His head, flames, chest button, and gun will now be cast in a clear red/orange to more perfectly reflect Mel Birnkrant's original vision of him.

XODIAC 2.0! His staff, gun and helmet clear colors have been altered to more accurately reflect the colors of the original Xodiac figure's colors from the 60's.

NEW OUTER SPACE MEN TEST SHOTS REVEALED!!

We just got test shots in of Outer Space Men, Orbitron and Gemini and our first Deluxe Outer Space Man, Cyclops in at the studio yesterday and we couldn't wait any longer to show them off to you!

Test shots are the first test run out of the steel molds using spare plastic at the factory so we can approve or correct any of the molding issues before the figures go into full production. These three are cast in a really cool purple/blue color that the photos aren't really doing justice to. Even though this color isn't what we have planned for the Alpha Phase wave of these three figures, it's such a striking color that we may have to utilize it in the OSM line somewhere down the line.

There are a few minor issues here and there that will need to be tweaked with these figures before they go into full production, but all in all we're incredibly impressed with the level of these. They're really beautiful and we were amazed at the heft of Cyclops when you hold him in your hand. As you can see from the photos below, he's massive compared to the other OSM done so far. He'll make a worthy adversary for the upcoming Colossus Rex for sure!

As for the Alpha Phase wave which will be released at the 2012 San Diego Comic Con and sold through Store Horsemen, we've decided on colors for each of the characters...

GEMINI:  Clear yellow with clear green ABS accessories & parts.

ORBITRON:  Clear pink with clear green ABS accessories.

CYCLOPS (shown both armored and with armor removed): Clear light blue with clear green ABS parts & accessories.

These three along with other upcoming OSM releases (scroll down) will be going up for pre-order sometime next week! Be sure to keep checking back here for more updates.

INFINITY EDITION OUTER SPACE MEN 1&2 RESTOCK LIST GROWING RAPIDLY!

The names being added to our "restock list" for the Infinity Edition Outer Space Men waves 1 & 2 which are currently out of stock continues to grow every day.

As we've stated in an earlier press release, these are not exactly the same as the original release of the Infinity Edition OSM waves 1&2. We've gone back in and made some minor tweaks and alterations to the paints that will bring these guys even closer to Mel Birnkrant's original vision of the Outer Space Men. The changes will be minor, but they're sure to be appreciated by true OSM fans.

We'd hoped to have these figures back in-stock by mid-Spring, but we decided that a little delay would be okay in order to make sure that two other upcoming OSM editions also currently in production would all be ready in time for the 2012 San Diego Comic Con. The Infinity Edition Outer Space Men waves 1&2 (MK2) will be available for sale at SDCC 2012 and online at Store Horsemen at the same time, with prototype photos and pre-orders coming within the next couple weeks!

FOUR HORSEMEN UPDATE

Even though Orbitron was released way back in the original Outer Space Men line, this will be the first time that Gemini and Cyclops have ever been seen outside of prototype form. - Cosmic Creators Series, Four Horsemen Edition Outer Space Men:  In production now - Following the successful release of the amazing Cosmic Creators Series, Mel Birnkrant Edition OSM figures, the Four Horsemen have come up with their own crazy color combos for waves 1&2 of the OSM. These will be extremely limited and signed and once they're sold out, they're sold out forever. The Cosmic Creators Series, Four Horsemen Edition Outer Space Men will be available for sale at SDCC 2012 and online at Store Horsemen at the same time. - Vampire Girls (Gothitropolis) production:  Although these aren't going into production as soon as we'd like, after getting some extremely high pricing for tooling from one factory, we've finally gotten pricing from another factory that we think we can live with. The figures are going to be more expensive than we'd hoped, but production costs continue to rise every day and there's not much we can do to stop that. Hopefully we'll have more news about her very soon.
