FUTURETRO OUTER SPACE MEN PRINT REVEALED!

The Four Horsemen's upcoming gallery show, Toypocalypse 2: Futuretro begins this Friday, February 10th at 7pm at the TT Underground Gallery in New York City, and the Horsemen are ready to reveal the limited edition Outer Space Men print that will be sold along with the exclusive "Cosmic Creators" Outer Space Men figures set at the show.

Painted by fan favorite artist and frequent Four Horsemen collaborator, Nathan Baertsch, this 11" X 17" image on high quality, uncoated, heavy card-stock is Nate's vision of the Outer Space Men originally created by renowned designer Mel Birnkrant back in the late 60's.

 

This print will be available exclusively along with the purchase of the extremely limited Outer Space Men Cosmic Creators series - The Birnkrant Edition figures set. The Cosmic Creator's set consists of alternate versions of four of Mel Birnkrant's most famous creations. The set featuring Metalmorpho, Deep Blue Astro-Nautilus, Goldiac and Blazing Inferno will be signed not only by Mr. Birnkrant himself, but also by each of the Four Horsemen. Each set of figures and OSM print is $125.00 at the Futuretro gallery show.

ABDI FARAH, WINNER OF 'WORK OF ART' SEASON 1 AT FUTURETRO

Abdi Farah took the top prize in the first season of Bravo TV's art-based reality contest "Work of Art: The Next Great Artist", and now he's bringing some of that incredible talent to the toy world by joining us at Toypocalypse 2: Futuretro (at TT Underground Gallery in NYC)and creating his own brand of Outer Space Men custom for the show!

Abdi will be appearing on Friday evening at the opening of the gallery show (02/10/2012 @ 7:00pm) along with two other Work of Art: The Next Great Artist alumni - Sucklord: super-villain and owner of Suckadelic and Kymia the winner of the second season of Work of Art.

Here at Four Horsemen Toy Design Studios, we're all really big fans of the show, and we're extremely excited to see what Abdi will bring to the table with his customs. Once again, you can be sure that it will BE BOLD! It will BE BRAVE! And it will BE AMAZING!... Well maybe. But it'll definitely be really cool!

Not only is one of the toy industry's most elusive icons, Mel Birnkrant going to be making an appearance at the show, but our friends the Super Sucklord and Kymia Nawabi from Bravo TV's: Work of Art: The Next Great Artist will be joining us at Toypocalypse 2: Futuretro as well!

They'll be visiting us on the opening night - February 10th, 2012 beginning at 7pm at TT Underground Gallery in NYC.

But that's not the best part... Sucklord and Kymia are also each going to be entering their own Outer Space Men customs into our OSM customs show! We have no idea what these two are going to do with our beloved Outer Space Men, but you can rest assured that it will BE BOLD! It will BE BRAVE! And it will BE AMAZING! INFINITY EDITION OUTER SPACE MEN WAVES 3 & 4 IN STOCK AND SHIPPING NOW!!

You read that right! We finally got the shipment of the Infinity Edition Outer Space Men waves 3 & 4 in stock at Store Horsemen last week and we've been boxing orders up and preparing them for shipping. The first batch of about 100 domestic orders shound ship out tomorrow via FedEx Ground and shipping of all remaining domestic and internatinal orders wil continue over the next week or so. Depending on how quickly we can get things boxed up and prepared to ship, we hope to ship boxes out every Friday and Tuesday over the next couple of weeks until all the orders are shipped. Each set will be signed by both Mel Birnkrant and the Four Horsemen and will also come with a limited edition Outer Space Men print created by fan favorite and frequent Four Horsemen collaborator, Nathan (Baena) Baertsch!
